CHAPTER 1
“Bring your bags downstairs Adrianna, the taxi is here!” My mom yells to me as I am putting the finishing touches of my makeup on. I quickly put on my cropped tank and skinny jeans, grab my bags and head out the door.
“Bye Adrianna” One of my best friends Hayden says as she is on the verge of balling her eyes out.
“Bye babe, I am going to miss you guys so much.” I say wiping a tear from my cheek.
“We are going to miss you too. You better not forget about us in that crazy town of Doncaster.” Kate says smiling knowing that there is absolutely nothing to do there.
“You better come visit us every year and we will skype every night okay?” Hayden starts to cry now pulling us in for a hug. The three of us have been best friends since I can remember. We were all in the first grade together and had the same teacher. Since then we were all best friends going on family vacations together, you name it.
“Come on Adrianna, we are going to miss out flight. Say goodbye.” My mom says as she closes the trunk of the taxi and gets in.
“I love you guys and we will skype tonight okay. I hate my mom for making me leave you guys. Bye I love you.” So many tears are falling down my face by now. I hate my mom. I hate that she is doing this to me. It is not fair. Hayden offered me to live at her house but of course my mom denied it and is making me join her to England because of her job.
“Bye” They both say as I leave the hugging circle and shut the taxi door behind me. Wow I am actually leaving.
The plane ride was supper long. I watched New Years Eve witch I loved because Zac Effron was in it, got a hour of sleep and ate, a lot. My mom and I got our bags and finally made it to the new house. I have to admit it was pretty nice for an older house. It was not small at all and had a bigger yard. I am surprised my mom could afford something like this.
“Get your stuff and put it in your room. You mine as well go pick the room you want now.” My mom says as she is unpacking some boxes that were shipped to the house earlier.
I go upstairs to find three rooms to choose from. The first one was a fair size and had a huge beautiful window on one wall. The second room was much smaller that would probably work as an office for my mom. The third one was amazing with a balcony on the far wall. My mom told me I could choose anyone so I chose the big one. No surprise there.
I unpacked my bags and put them in my new room.
“I think I am going to go and get some Starbucks or something. I will be back later.” I tell my mom as I grab a scarf and purse and leave. I needed a fresh breath of air before I began my new life here in Doncaster. I was looking forward to starting over.
After I left the house I decided that I would walk for a little to see what was around. There was nothing really. Just a bunch of houses around until I got to the main road. There were shops and a lot of people walking as it was only mid-day. I liked it here. Everything was pretty chill. I couldn’t find a Starbucks nearby so I decided to call a taxi over. I finally got one and opened the door. As I sat down I saw someone sitting down at the same time next to me. He was beautiful. I had no clue who he was. I probably looked like an idiot just staring at him but who cares. He turned his head staring at me with the most beautiful blue eyes ever.
